On Tuesday or Wednesday I always post the Gospel for Sunday so that we can meditate on the reading during the week.  The Gospel for the coming Sunday is very uplifting “Whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life” this is the line in scripture that speaks to me today. Our lives test us until death and through it all we experience highs and lows as time drifts through our fingertips .  We learn from our mistakes and we try harder to make the changes required to feel more content and at peace in our souls. I pray that I might understand the wisdom of God and not allow eternal influences in my life to distract me from my final journey into the arms of God.

I invite you to share your thoughts and feelings on the Gospel

No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven—the Son of Man.  Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
